2 year checkup
Andy had his 2 year checkup this morning. Matt's office is on the way and when we were about a block from approaching his office Andy said "on way to Daddy's work". He was so excited about the fish tank in the waiting room that he was kissing it. He kept saying "fishies swims in box". As soon as we walked through the door towards to patient rooms he burst into tears and was hysterical. He has a great memory! Andy is 31 lbs 7 oz which is 95th percentile. He can now switch from whole milk (he is drinking 1.5 gallons a week) to skim milk. He was about 35 inches, 75th percentile but that was very rough since he was kicking and screaming. The doctor was blown away by his language and impressed that he could jump! She said she was going to ask if Andy could put two words together but she wouldn't because he recounted the story I was reading to him before she walked in (Richard Scarry Busy Firefighters courtesy of Aunt Jill and Uncle Jeff). When we were done I called Matt and Andy said "Andy talk". Then Andy told Matt "I love you Daddy". Matt asked him what he was going to do today and Andy said "Fix something with power drill".
