*Sometimes Andy refers to his ducky he sleeps with as she and sometimes as he. So Matt asked Andy if ducky was a boy or a girl. Andy replied, "just a duck".
*Andy recognizes the number 0 now! He pointed to the 0 in his 101 dalmation book and said "zero"!
*Andy can tell you if something is smaller or bigger than something else
*We were reading Poppleton (as always) and one book had a story about bicycles. Later we were reading another book that had a story about icicles. After we finished reading Andy said, "icicles, bicycles"
*Andy started playing word games on his own. He takes a letter and makes each word start with it. For example he'll start listing of Pandy, Paddy, Pommy, Uncle Peff, Aunt Pill. He tends to do this with P or Z. We've heard him do it with himself in his crib too!
*If you say I love you to Andy he often says back I love you too!
*One of Andy's favorite game right now is to play dog chasing a skateboard. We saw a man skateboarding in the neighborhood and his dog was chasing him. Andy and I both thought it was hilarious. Andy now pretends to be on a skateboard and wants Matt to chase him panting and barking. Andy says "I'm a skateboard man. Daddy's a doggy"!
*Andy also likes to play flight attendant. He will bring you tasty airplane water, tasty treats, a badge with wings, and will hug you if you feel dizzy.
*Andy talks in full sentences. He will say "Would you like to read with me?" "Do you want me to get you a towel?" "Do you want to help me get out of the crib?"
*Andy knows his shapes and colors really well.
*We keep asking Andy what he wants for Christmas because we get funny responses. He has said:
-a power saw
-light bulbs
-bags of money
-my very own Christmas tree (which Momo got him)
This morning he told me he wants Santa to bring him a big boy crib for Christmas.
