Charlie had his 1 year checkup today and is doing great. He is 23 lbs 14 oz (85th percentile), 31 inches long (90th percentile) and 18.5 inches head circumference (70th percentile). He was a good sport getting 4 shots and a finger prick on his birthday. Dr. Birmingham was impressed with how industrious he was moving books in and out of a bin during the appointment!
Charlie crawled down all the steps in the basement on his tummy. He repeats back "moo" for a cow when looking at a picture of a cow in a book. He is waving hello and goodbye really well. He is often signing more and please. He dances by swinging his arms back and forth. He loves eating all sorts of food especially hummus. He likes hummus on pita, broccoli, peppers, and cucumbers. He sometimes calls us mama and dada and sometimes calls Andy ba. He can open and close doors now!
