SK has spent four music classes interacting with Aesop’s fable of The Tortoise and the Hare through music. We have sung songs for the characters, played instruments with a slow tempo for the tortoise and a fast tempo for the hare. We have also listened to music as we acted out the race and played instruments for the victory celebration. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A Major, second movement (Allegretto) was our race music! It has a nice steady beat for the tortoise, who keeps on going! [gallery]
