First grade students took the knowledge they gathered about their animals to create beautiful and accurate drawings of their animals. During our first session we discussed the habitats of our animals. Each student took their time creating a habitat with an application called Tux Paint. Once their habitat had everything the animal needed they added the animal to the drawing. Finally, each students finished off their illustration with a fact about the animal. We worked on clicking accurately, double clicking, dragging and dropping and controlling the mouse in general.
